New Chief For London Hilton Hotels |
|
Hilton UK & Ireland is pleased to announce that Frank Fiskers will be taking over the role of Regional Vice President, Central London, with responsibility for the thirteen Central London Hiltons, in early December 2003. Frank inherits the role from Stephen Elliott, who has chosen to take early retirement to pursue other interests, after 22 years with Hilton. |
Frank joins Hilton UK & Ireland from his current position as Vice President, Sweden for Hilton and Scandic hotels - a position he took up in 2002. Previous to this, Frank was Vice President, Germany for Hilton, the position in which he joined the company in 2001. Before joining Hilton, Frank held various senior management positions throughout Europe for Radisson SAS, finishing up as Vice President, Nordic Countries.
Frank, a seasoned hotel industry veteran of 25 years standing, was born in Copenhagen in 1961 where he also had his formal school education, and will be moving to London from Sweden to take up his new post.
Wolfgang M. Neumann, Area President, Hilton UK & Ireland, said: "We are excited that Frank has agreed to take on this new challenge within the Hilton family. Thanks to his international background and wealth of experience he is the perfect candidate to move the London hotels on into the future."
Frank Fiskers said: "I am looking forward to the new challenges and opportunities presented to me by London and to further developing and strengthening the position of Hilton in this important market."
