(AMEX: JQH) proudly announces that the Renaissance® Tulsa Hotel and Convention Center recently received a four diamond rating from the American Automotive Association (AAA). Opening just four months ago, the new $50 million, 300-room hotel is the only property to earn the four diamond rating in Tulsa and is one of three hotels with the rating distinction in Oklahoma. Owned by Mr. John Q. Hammons, the Renaissance Tulsa Hotel and Convention Center is managed by Springfield, Mo.-based John Q. Hammons Hotels, Inc. The AAA diamond ratings are assigned to an exclusive group of properties that successfully complete a thorough evaluation process. The ratings, which range from one diamond to five diamond, represent a combination of overall quality, variety of facilities and level of services offered by a property. The size, age and overall appeal of an establishment, as well as regional architectural style and design are also considered when assigning a diamond rating. Four diamond distinctions are given to upscale properties that offer exceptional accommodations, an extensive array of amenities, and provide a high degree of hospitality, service and attention to detail.

About Gordon Rostvold
With more than 25 years of experience in the hospitality industry, Rostvold has served as a general manager for John Q. Hammons Hotels since March 1996. Before joining the Renaissance Tulsa Hotel and Convention Center and assisting in its grand opening, Rostvold was the general manager of the Embassy Suites Hotel® Little Rock, which was a recipient of Embassy Suites Hotels’ Pinnacle Award for a Top Ten Hotel in 2000. He also served as general manager at the Holiday Inn Beaumont Plaza in Texas for three years. As general manager at each property, Rostvold established record financial performance and superior service.
