Enabling Independence: Service for Guests with Disabilities, a training video from the American Hotel & Lodging Educational Institute (EI), has won a Bronze Telly in the 33rd annual Telly Awards, which honors outstanding production in the field of video.

The American Hotel & Lodging Association (AH&LA) testified today before the House Judiciary Subcommittee on Constitution in support of reasonable pool and spa entry requirements for travelers with disabilities and called on the Department of Justice (DOJ) to work for sensible measures that provide access while protecting children from harm.

The guide helps hoteliers review their compliance obligations to determine if and what changes are necessary, including accessible use in and around a property, guestroom design, recreational facilities, auxiliary aids and services, and modification of policies and procedures.
